This print was created from a "Donnie Darko" painting I made. I photographed it to transform it into a digital print.
With this process, I combine old-school, traditional art styles and techniques (e.g. paint and canvas) with new-school, experimental concepts and technology (e.g. digital photography and filtering). I believe the contrast between the disparate creation process emulates the inherent duality expressed in reality.
